Coming to the end of the second urban survival journey...

Wow, I am sitting here at yes McDonald's.. with the air conditioner blasting on my bald cold fucken head once again at night on a Sunday. I just got out of the gyms jacuzzi so I could warm my freezing cold bones up before I laid down tonight in my freezing ass 1990 van with no insulation. That's why the air conditioning running when it is raining out bothers me a bit. Can I blame McDonald's though for not tailoring to this homeless dude that wants to use there Internet for free for about 4-5 hours tonight after buying a $1.00 coke? No. I am just tired as hell of being cold. I have shelter of a van at least, think about all the people that are out on the streets when it is raining? I am sitting here full of Panda Express and bloated due to all the salt, sipping on my diet Dr. Pecker.. Love that.. Ya, so lets see...

I have not blogged for a while.. I did not want to document this little journey of mine this time cuz I don't plan on being here for long. I have only been homeless now for about 2 very cold weeks.  It is coming to an end because I am running out of money soon. I am using my last $200.00 and going to San Diego for a job interview on Tuesday morning. The job would be PERFECT for what I want to accomplish. I want to start my ceramics business again - Ceramic Tattoo Art. They are offering free rent and $500.00 a month. I just got a grant for about $20,000+ from Vocational Rehab. Yes, they are offering to buy all of my pottery and wood working supplies back again brand new! Great news! I also found out today from a friend of mine that he is going to give me ALL, yes I said all of his household furnishings (brand new) furnishing - TV, Bed, Cooking supplies, etc... He is going on a journey out of the country that is all I will say as to not break his anonymity. What a "God Shot" that was today.. So I could possibly get all new studio equipment, a free place to live, $500.00 a month and all new furnishings in a few days time. WOW, I am blessed. I am just seeing what God wants for me next. Life's a trip when you surrender and go with the flow... Going with the flow is not always easy but it is working for me right now. I just had to surrender a few days ago and yes a day later all these wonderful things come up, never fails. The backup plan is to come back to Santa Barbara and possibly rent a space from a Tattoo Shop here downtown.  The problem with that is I will not have any start up or operating funds while I am starting my biz so I would have to park the van and use shelter facitlities to shower and eat, etc... till I started to get income from my biz. I will do that if I have to but the San Diego job sounds wonderful! I will see soon enough.

Charby the road kitty gets his staples out tomorrow. I want to tell this story cuz it was soooooo cool. So I am eating my daily Chicken taco in the van and I look up and see a vet hospital. I thought you know Charby has had this wart thing on his nose now for about 9 or 10 months now. I was worried it was cancer. and he got two more under his bottom lip. I said what the hell and went into the vet and asked them if I could possibly bring him in real quick for the doc to take a look at his nose, that I was homeless and had no money. They said sure and that vet spent all day with Charby testing for cancer and all kinds of stuff. She did find that it looked like cancer so she did surgery for free! About $2,000 worth of vet bill for free. I did some gardening for her and gave all of her staff some of my TT Necklaces.  I definitely got he better deal... It was a wonderful thing that vet did. Again I m blessed!

“When every hope is gone, 'when helpers fail and comforts flee,' I find that help arrives somehow, from I know not where. Supplication, worship, prayer are no superstition; they are acts more real than the acts of eating, drinking, sitting or walking. It is no exaggeration to say that they alone are real, all else is unreal.”
